What could I do to get done with my work, with ease and feel at peace with myself?
These are probably the things that come to your mind when you don’t feel motivated.
It happens to everyone especially when we approach our period.
I don’t know for yourself but I have this fatigue getting to me a few days before and someday I feel drained and don’t find the courage to do anything.
But there are easy and simple ways we can use to get motivated and stay motivated and feel that we have done something meaningful in our day.
Salam alikum my lovely sisters
One day you wake up feeling tired already, sitting at the edge of the bed not knowing what’s going to be your next step for the day.
Someday you even feel like you want to do nothing.
Especially now that we’re in lockdown again and kids are at home. Someday it can be difficult to find our marks and a new routine is sometimes necessary.
When we see the chaos around us we might feel not motivated to do anything and just go back to bed.
But what are we supposed to do?
Stay like that all day?
Dwelling on our state?
And start overthinking about all the things that go wrong in our life or our to-do list and straight away feeling overwhelmed? With a bunch of rubbish thoughts flooding us.
Or can we do something about it?
Watching cat videos all-day
scrolling on social media
Realising 2 hours passed and we just wasted 2 hours of our precious time mindlessly
Being in autopilot all-day
Ok, I’m going to stop here.
Does it sound familiar?
This is what I used to do when I didn’t catch myself up.
This is still what I might end up doing if I’m on autopilot but thanks to the tips I’m going to share here I do it a lot less now and I hope that this will also inspire incha Allah.
So yes watching cat videos is cute and may bring comfort watching those cute kitties but it doesn’t give meaning to what we are doing and as we remember we should be leaving our life by intentions.
Alhamdullilah, By the grace of Allah (God), there are always ways to bring meaning even if you don’t feel like it.
I am going to show you exactly how you can still show up to a minimum and feel good about yourself using 12 easy and simple ways to get motivated and stay motivated and feel that you have done something meaningful in your day.
Yes because often when we feel like doing nothing we start feeling guilty.
Feeling guilty won’t help us feel better, on the contrary, it will make us stat having self-talk that will be at our disservice.
There are plenty of things we can do about it.
And feel good and empowered again, knowing that we have done something even if it is something small but meaningful to us.
12 Easy Things to do to feel motivated
1 Reading Qur’an or listening to it.
Quran can have a magical effect, a boosting impact on your mood and give you a boost of energy just by listening to it or reciting it, filling the room with the beautiful melody of the reciter and your own recitation.
Simply close your eyes and feel the Quran in your heart, your throat as you recite The Words Of Allah, talking to you.
Feel the warmth and the peace it brings you and the energy it gives you.
Try it and let m know if how it makes you feel
2 Reading a book
When I don’t feel motivated and I’m still in bed not knowing what to do next, instead of reaching for my phone I try to read something inspiring.
For me, it is usually something about nature or self-growth for you it can be anything that brings positive energy or make you feel good.
